Nail Art: Ruby Slippers

This look was originally done with my mom in mind. She is a fan of the Wizard of Oz so when i see red nail polish and glitter laying around this look was inevitable. The best part about it is how easy it is to do. All you need is a base coat, top coat, red nail polish, clear nail polish and glitter. It is even easier to do if you already own a glitter polish though i think i like the look of actual glitter better.

• Apply red nail polish and wait for it to dry completely before moving on. If you dont then the glitter stick all over the nail rather than just on the tip.
• Using a clear nail polish create a french tip then sprinkle glitter over the tip of the nail. Apply as much or as little as you want. It is ok if the glitter gets everywhere. So long as the red was completely dry you should be able to just tap or brush away any excess glitter.
• Apply a top coat and you're done.
